If this past weekend’s Boston Water Gun Fight 2012 has left you itching for some more Northeastern happenings, never fear! NU Student Life is here with some sweet, sweet, event info!
Edit: The tickets are now gone, I’m sad to say
Sometimes you walk by Gallery 360 and you see something that forces you to stop and drop whatever it is you’re doing because it’s not nearly as important as the thing you are staring at. Right now Gallery 360 is filled with models of space ships, and it is one of those times. This month, Martin Ulman’s “Seaships Airships Spaceships” will be on display, and be sure to check out the reception event this Wednesday! https://www.facebook.com/events/219485634841146/

MCC is the only conference in North America that brings together over 1,000 college students and dozens of leading advocates, professionals and celebrities to discuss the Millennium Development Goals. No other conference gives students the opportunity to learn tangible skills, connect in meaningful ways with their peers and engage directly with global leaders all in one weekend. Being hosted by Northeastern on Sept 14-15, the conference is modeled after the UN’s 6 millenium development goals (MDGs) (http://www.un.org/millenniumgoals) which are fundamentally based on sustainability. About 1,000 students from all over the world have attended each of the 3 previous conferences.
