Thank God it’s Thursday, Huskies! We know it’s not Friday, but get excited because there are some pretty cool events going on today.
It is hard to pass up cookies and hot chocolate, especially if they are being offered for free by Off Campus Student Services. The Off Campus Student Services office is hosting an open house for new (and old) off-campus students today from 3:30 to 5:30pm in 226 Curry. This is a great opportunity to meet with other off-campus Huskies, Northeastern’s Community Ambassadors, and to learn more about your neighborhood. Also, while you are there, don’t forget pick up a free tote!
An evening at the Museum of Fine Arts is a great way to wrap up Welcome Week. NU students who are interested should meet in front of Blackman Auditorium in Ell Hall and the group will leave from there at 5:00pm. Bring your Husky ID for free admission.

The Women’s Basketball team needs your support tonight as they take on William & Mary at 7pm in Cabot gym. Get your tickets on myNEU and bring your HuskyID for admission.
On a more somber note, take the time next Monday to stop and remember Sandy Hook and all communities impacted by gun violence at the vigil sponsored by the Center for Spirituality, Dialogue, and Service. This interfaith service of remembrance will be held in the Sacred Space (200 Ell Hall) at 12pm, and all Northeastern students and faculty are welcome.
Blog looks great!
Thanks Catherine that means a lot.
