The Blog

Welcome to The Student Life Blog!

We’ve revamped the student life blog! Now it’s easier for YOU to find out what’s going on on YOUR CAMPUS!

The new format is simple: the home page contains a live stream of updates of all sorts. If you look to the right of the stream, you’ll see the categories section! Click through the categories to see posts of only that type! Then, you can scroll through those post and select the ones you would like to read with ease.

The categories are:

The Daily

Check this category for all the daily posts and event listings!

From the Director

Important Messages from the Office

Michelle’s Weekly Boston Update

Events, shows, volunteer and career opportunities, and much more!

Featured Students

This category features students who have made a tremendous impact on student life and the Northeastern Community!

Exposure and Opinions

On occasion we, the fancy co-ops, will act as Agents of The Office and go to specific events! This category compiles specific recounts of events we’ve attended around campus, along with opinion submissions pertinent to student life at Northeastern!

The S.O.S. Page

Sometimes organizations just need a little help! Check out this page for listing about organizations that need some attention! Posts include: Audition calls, volunteers needed, interest groups, and any other sort of advertisement for participation.

The UP-AND-COMING

Northeastern hosts some HUGE events! Just for the sake of planning, we’ve pulled some of Northeastern’s hottest events into ONE PLACE! Check here for events requiring tickets.

So check out what we got, check out who we are through the Main Contributors, and leave a comment! The blog is student run, so don’t be shy. If you’ve got a submission or an event that needs promotion, stop by our page and shoot us an email and we’ll see what we can do!

  1. Hey!
My name is Dan Hennagin. I am in the process of committing to Northeastern and I was wondering where I should apply to live in next year as a Freshman. Thanks!

  2. Well, I am a chemical engineering major (don’t know if it makes a difference) and plan to join the ultimate club team and to attend a lot of Husky Hockey games. Does that make a difference of what housing complex i shoud choose?
