Mother’s Day weekend is here and what better way to celebrate than participating in a good cause? March of Dimes’ March for Babies is coming to Boston this Saturday, May 12th! Join over 6,000 people in walking for healthy babies. All donations go towards helping pre-mature babies and other threats to children’s lives at birth. The walk is only three miles long and begins at the Hatch Shell on the Charles at 12:30 PM (registration begins at 11:30 AM). For more information about this fun and rewarding experience, click here!
Have you ever been curious what an adult version of Sesame Street would be like? Check out The Lyric Stage Company of Boston as it presents the Tony-award winning musical Avenue Q! Opening night is tonight and the performances will run through June 24th at the Lyric Stage Theatre on Clarendon Street. Through puppets and actors, Avenue Q takes the audience on the lead character’s life post-college graduation.
