This Wednesday, NU Dining and a bunch of groups across campus are working to bring you some culinary excellence that should really bring some bang to your palette. On Oct. 24th, 2012, Northeastern will be participating in National Food Day, a nationwide celebration encouraging the movement towards healthy, affordable, and sustainable food.
What does this mean for Northeastern? Well, on this special Wednesday, Stetson East/West, International Village, the West End, and our beloved H3 Food Truck are all switching up their menus to offer menu items based around healthy, local ingredients. You can check out the menu items above, which include locally sourced versions of: grilled cheese, mashed potatoes, clam chowder, fish, butternut squash bisque, and much more!
In addition to these revamped menus, there will also be the 3rd part in the NU Dining Healthy Cooking Series in the Xhibition Kitchen (the-free-to-enter cooking demo room in Stetson West).
As an added bonus, Slow Food NU and NU Dining are cosponsoring a cookbook signing with Terry Walters at Xhibition Kitchen on Saturday, October 27th. Join Terry Walters as she talks about delicious and healthy cooking, along with pro-tips regarding shopping and everything in between.
