NU Theater Department Presents: “Company”

Evening shows: 8:00 PM (Matinees 2:00 PM), Blackman Auditorium

Featuring brilliant music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim, “Company” tells the story of a great friend: Bobby, the one single guy in a sea of married friends. Women adore him, but he can’t seem to settle down. His quest for a fulfilling life is by turns hilarious, sexy, and moving, while it asks the fundamental question–

Why do we need each other?

The performance dates are as follows:
November 6-10 at 8 PM; November 11 at 2 PM
November 13-17 at 8 PM; November 18, 2012 at 2 PM

Tickets can be purchased at the ticket booth in Ell Hall Mon – Fri, 12pm to 6pm. They can also be purchased online at http://neu.universitytickets.com/user_pages/event_listings.asp or at the door of the Studio Theatre prior to performances (if shows do not sell out).

CUP Presents: Chris Kattan

7:00 PM, Blackman Auditorium

Comedian and actor Chris Kattan will be coming to Northeastern’s Blackman Auditorium for a night of stand-up comedy sponsored by the Council for University Programs! This is the rescheduled date of the event after Hurricane Sandy prevented the show from happening, and tickets to the original event will be hnonored

Chris Kattan is best known for his work on SNL in the in the mid-nineties starring opposite Will Ferrel in the “Night at the Roxbury” sketches, as well as roles in films such as “Undercover Brother,” “Mango,” and “Corkey Romano.” He currently stars on the TV Sitcom “The Middle.”

NU Stage Presents: Spring Awakening

7:30 PM, Blackman Auditorium

It’s Germany, 1891. A world where the grown-ups hold all the cards. Based on Frank Wedekind’s play of the same name, Spring Awakening depicts a dozen young people making their way through the thrilling, complicated and mysterious time of sexual awakening. Featuring a modern, rock-infused score from Duncan Sheik and a powerful book from Steven Sater, Spring Awakening is an exciting, heart-wrenching tale of what it means to grow up.

Shows at 8 P.M. on 11/16 and 11/17
