Are You Ready For The Jerrycan Challenge?

On Nov. 15th, 2012, until 2 PM, Engineers Without Borders (EWB) will be running their annual Jerrycan Challenge in the Science Quad (outside Robinson Hall)!  To help raise awareness about access to clean water sources in Central America, EWB invites students to carry a full, 5-gallon jerrycan of water (weighing about 40 pounds) in a loop around Curry/Ell Hall, representing the trek that some people must go through to be able to have potable water.

Those who complete the challenge will be rewarded with a free Catalyst t-shirt (to read more about Catalyst, the exciting Kickstarter-esque fund Northeastern recently started, check out our story on them).

So stop by the Science Quad for a quick work-out for awareness!
