Winter Wonderland: Northeastern’s 9th Annual Tree Lighting

Thursday, Nov. 29th, 2012, 4-7 PM, Krentzman Quad

Presented by Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity and Northeastern Student Affairs, this Northeastern tradition is shaping up to be quite awesome this year. With multiple performances from a capella groups, personalized snow globes, holiday treats, and more, this 100% free event will definitely illuminate Krentzman Quad.

CUP Presents: Anthony Green

Tuesday, Nov. 27th, 2012, 7:30 PM, AfterHours, NU + 1

Come to afterHOURS for an exciting show from Circa Survive frontman Anthony Green. Presented by the Council for University Programs.

Anthony Green is most commonly known for being the lead singer of Circa Survive. Prior to Circa Survive he sang for the band Saosin, and the side project, The Sound Of Animals Fighting, with members of RX Bandits, Finch, Days Away, and Saosin. Recently, he has been working on his solo career. His debut solo album, “Avalon”, peaked at #44 on the Billboard 200 and his latest release, “Beautiful Things” peaked at #22. Both of the albums had Good Old War as his backing band. Anthony’s latest release had songs that featured the following; Nate Reus of Fun., Dave Davison of Maps and Atlases, and Chino Moreno of Deftones.

Also opening will be Balance and Composure and Parks and Castles.
