??????????With the internship fair right around the corner (January 31st), the Career Center will be hosting an Internship Fair Success Tips Workshop in 12 Stearns from 12:00 to 1:00pm. Learn how to make that great first impression!
The highly anticipated Smoke-free campus initiative forum will take place today from 3:30 to 5:00pm at the Cabral Center. Northeastern students, staff, and faculty will have the opportunity to share their opinions of the initiative and hear from others. Dean Fulmer and other members of the University’s Smoke-Free Campus Policy Working Group will be in attendance.
Visiting scholar Shannon Weber, Ph.D candidate in Feminist Studies at the University of California, Santa Barbara will give a lecture titled “Queer Community, Queer Hierarchy” from 12 to 2pm in 540 Holmes Hall. This lecture will discuss a case study of LGBTQ students at a Massachusetts women’s college.
The Consul General of Israel to New England, Shai Bazak, is to give a lecture on the current trends in Israeli media and political journalism. ????????????Bazak is the former spokesman for Prime Minister of the State of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu. This free lecture will take place at 4pm at the Columbus Place and Alumni Center, 6th floor.
