How to Survive Today (Monday)

We know everyone is getting listless with Spring Break just around the corner but snow still on the ground. But here are some events that are bound to keep you from daydreaming (about tropical places, of course) away.beach
Do you have questions about or simply want to learn more about Northeastern’s campus-wide sustainability initiatives and progress? Luckily, there is a Sustainability Symposium for you to attend today from 3 to 5pm in the Curry McLeod Suites. Topics such as conservation, a climate action plan update, research and academic initiatives as will as student and dining services initiatives will be addressed.
Join in on a conversation about hate crime, inter-group relations, and campus climates with former governor, presidential nominee, and Northeastern Distinguished Professor Michael S. Dukakis. Northeastern Reflects: Understanding Hate is part of the “Conflict, Civility, Respect, and Peace” series hosted by Dukakis in conjunction with the Presidential Council on Inclusion and Diversity. This event will take place at 7pm in West Village F room 20.

So if you are looking for laughs, come out to experience this hilarious duo in action tonight at 8pm in Blackman Auditorium. Tickets are available for Northeastern students for $10, $15 for guests and can be purchased on MyNEU.
Have you always wanted be on Idol without the pressure of performing in front of Simon or Paula?idol You will have your chance in the spotlight at tonight’s NU Idol, brought to you by the 2013 Senior Class Advisory Board. During this contest the Board will be searching for the most talented singer of the senior class to perform the National Anthem at the RedSox game during Senior Week. This free event will be held in AfterHours at 7pm.
