Do you wish you could go back to pre-school just for the show and tell time (and naps, of course)? Today at the Latino American Student Organization (LASO)’s Show and Tell event bring something to show from a country of your choice and be prepared to see what others have to show you about theirs. It can be from your own ethnic background or a Latin country you find interesting. This includes food, a flag, a story, a dance, ANYTHING that can be shared with the group. This event will be held at Northeastern’s Latino/a Student Cultural Center (140 Forsyth St.) from 6-7pm. P.s.- there will be Platanos!
As part of Islamic Awareness Month, the Islamic Society of Northeastern has put together “Love Struck: Romance in Islam” featuring Abdelrahman Murphy, a graduate of the University of Illinois at Chicago, whose passion includes working with Muslims to help improve on a personal, family, and community level. The purpose of this event is to raise awareness with regards to Islamic principles of romance and marital relationships. 6-7:00pm, McLeod Suites at the Curry Student Center.

Registered instructors will lead a Zumba session, open to those of all Zumba-esque abilities! In between classes Relay for Life members will discuss how you can become involved and join the fight against cancer. A $5 donation is suggested.
Come put Shakespeare and Poe to shame at the annual International Poetry Night, an intercultural poetry reading and discussion.Everyone is welcome! Share poetry of your own or of others, regardless of themes, language, or time period. The event will occur in the ISSI Lounge in 405 Ell Hall from 7 to 9pm.

Last but not least, enjoy an evening with The Whitest Kids U Know featuring Trevor Moore, Sam Brown, and Darren Trumeter. Trevor Moore is best known as both the head writer and featured actor in the IFV television series The Whitest Kids U Know. This free NU only event, brought to you by CUP, will be at 7:30 at AfterHours.
