Break out of your mid-week slump by attending the awesome events happening at Northeastern today.

It can be from your own ethnic background or a Latin country you find interesting. This includes food, a flag, a story, a dance, ANYTHING that can be shared with the group. This event will be held at Northeastern’s Latino/a Student Cultural Center (140 Forsyth St.) from 6-7pm. P.s.- there will be Platanos!

As part of Islamic Awareness Month, the Islamic Society of Northeastern has put together “Love Struck: Romance in Islam” featuring Abdelrahman Murphy, a graduate of the University of Illinois at Chicago, whose passion includes working with Muslims to help improve on a personal, family, and community level. The purpose of this event is to raise awareness with regards to Islamic principles of romance and marital relationships. 6-7:00pm, McLeod Suites at the Curry Student Center.
