University Budget! Food Not Bombs! Pop-Up Show!

budgetIs the university budget an important issue to you? Great! The SGA, GSG, and the Office of Student Affairs invite you to join them for a presentation on the 2013-2014 University Budget. Come learn how the University incorporated your ongoing feedback into the budget planning for the upcoming year, and hear exciting announcements about changes on campus in the year ahead. This presentation will take place today at 5pm in 333 Curry Student Center.

Spread the word- food not bombs! Food Not Bombs is an organization that recovers food and prepares and serves vegan meals to communities. Its founder, Keith McHenry will join us today to speak about the Food Not Bombs global campaign to end the criminalization of poverty, the movement’s participation in the occupations and how you and your classmates can participate in the global protest against austerity! Make sure to drop by 300 Richards at 7:00pm to hear an amazing presentation!

It’s a Carnevale Pop-Up Show! Come and join ISSI for a night of art from the Northeastern community, as well as photos from the ISSI photo contest. This display will be up for one night and one night only! There will be refreshments, music, and fun tonight at 5:30 in 405 Ell Hall.
