Come watch members of Alpha Epsilon Phi strut their stuff for a cause at today’s Ribbons on the Runway event and Silent Auction to benefit the Sharsheret Breast Cancer Fund. Sharsheret is a national non-for-profit organization supporting young Jewish women facing breast cancer. At the following silent action bid on jewelry, gift cards, and other items that have been donated by local businesses! The show begins at 7:30 in Curry and tickets can be purchased on myNEU.

It’s drag time, Northeastern! Join NU Pride for a night of gender-bending delights by our very own student drag queens, kings, and other gender non-conforming royalty at this year’s Dragstravaganza. The evening will be hosted by drag royalty Johnny Blazes, named “one of Boston’s rising stars” by Stuff magazine and known for genre-bending, gender-blending, and tongue-in-cheek performances. No ticket is required to get in, and this event is free and NU+1! The show will go on tonight at 7pm in AfterHours.

This Saturday the ISSI staff, Carnevale planning committee, and all Carnevale lovers will come together to celebrate the diverse talents found here on campus through song and dance. Prepare yourself for amazing performances spanning from that of NU’s International Idol winner Olivia Nguyen, Sinha Capoeria (Brazilian martial art), Aftab (Persian dance group), Dance Revelasian (Chinese dance group), and many more! This amazing event will be held on Saturday at 7pm in Blackman, the event is free but tickets are available on myNEU.
Somebunny wants to wish you a Happy Easter! Whether or not you celebrate the holiday, I thought I’d share some things to get you in an Easter, or at least spring, spirit! Oh, and we hope you enjoy the hyperlink scavenger hunt! If you live by the belief that one is NEVER too old for a good ole’ Easter egg hunt, you happen to be in luck. This year, the Easter egg hunt at Titus Sparrow Park (200 W. Newton St.) has gone green- the only egg hunt with 100% biodegradable eggs. There will be a real live Easter Bunny, a craft table, coffee from Starbucks, and home-baked treats! This free event begins at 10 am Saturday morning. You may bring your own basket, but please no fighting off children for eggs! What is Easter without an Easter brunch?
