carnivalIT’S BBQ AND CARNIVAL TIME! CUP and RSA have teamed up to provide this SpringFest event, a combination of Carnival games and Cookout food. There will be inflatables, popcorn, cotton candy, and of course, the food from the grill. Stop by for some food, games, and the lovely SpringFest swag – all for FREE. Head over to Centennial Quad from 11:30 to 3pm for this great fun, and don’t forget to bring your friends!

The red carpet is being rolled out for tonight’s showing of this year’s Oscar winner Argo. Come watch this year’s winner for Best Movie and grab some free popcorn! This showing will take place at 7pm in AfterHours.

genome-258x155Psychedelic, man! As part of National Public Health Week, come join the NU chapter of Students for A Sensible Drug Policy at the third annual Psychedelic Research panel. Featured speakers include Dr. John Halpern, Harvard Psychiatrist and researcher of cognitive effects of peyote and MDMA, and Dr. Rick Doblin, founder and Executive Director of MAPS (Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies). This panel will be held at 7pm in room 108 of the Snell Engineering building.

What is in the fish you order from restaurants? What about the dangers of farmed fish? At today’s Sustainable Seafood Lecture, NU’s Professor Grabowski will share how to make better decisions not only for your health, but for the future of our seas. This lecture, sponsored in part by the NU Marine Biology Club, will be held in 104 West Village G at 8:30pm.
