TO all graduating seniors at NU: happy senior week! You all deserve it! Be sure to check out the full list of this week’s events here. We already know the world’s fastest man (ahem, Mr. Bolt) but who is the fastest Husky? Find out at today’s Fun Run, beginning at noon at Centennial Commons. Donations will be donated for the One Fund benefiting victims of the Boston Marathon bombings. Canned goods will also be collected for the Greater Boston Food Bank. Everyone is welcome at this event, and if running isn’t your thing, come to cheer our seniors on. Don’t be a turtle, be a hare!
NU men’s baseball is looking to earn city and state bragging rights as they are up against the Massachusetts Minutemen at tonight’s Baseball Beanpot Championship. The Huskies hold a 6-5 Beanpot record versus the Minutemen, but UMass owns a 2-1 record in those three championship contests. The last time NU brought home the championship was in 2009. Thankfully freshman James Mulry (#34) got the start in the Huskies’ 10-2 win over Harvard to earn the right to play for a title, and tonight Northeastern expects to throw Isaac Lippert (#33). The game begins at 5pm at Fenway Park. Tickets are $10 and can be found at Redsox.com/Beanpot.
