Find yourself cruising down the Charles this Saturday at the (free) 34th annual Cambridge River Festival. Dance along to jazz, folk, roots, and world music and take in dance performances, art demos, and family activities. Plus, who could stay away from 100 street food purveyors?! The fun starts at the banks of the Charles River from 12 to 6pm.

Sail away into the deep blue at The Boston Sailing Center’s free open house at 1 pm this Saturday. There will be free sailing trips for the public between 1 and 4 pm on 24 to 30 foot boats. The Boston Sailing Center is located at Lewis Wharf.

dparty

Common Boston, a volunteer program of the Boston Society of Architects, is hosting its dParty at Boston Harbor’s Marina Pier (256 Marginal St.). This is your chance to mingle with Boston’s art, design, and non-profit communities as you take in stunning views and dance along to great music. The celebration begins at 6pm on Saturday. Don’t be tardy to this party!
