It’s been a long week, and you deserve a little treat! Dunkin’ Donuts thinks so too, and in honor of National Donut Day they are offering guests a FREE DONUT of their choice with the purchase of any beverage. And if you must know, National Donut Day was originally established in 1938 by the Chicago Salvation Army to honor women who served donuts to soldiers during World War I. For more history, read The Huffington Post’s tribute to donuts here. Also, from now through June 15, the baked-goods company Entenmann’s is donating $1 to the Salvation Army for everyone who likes their Facebook page.
