Boston is packed with bakeries and cupcake places! Here are a few of the cupcake spots you should try out. The commutes are relatively easy; there are fantastic flavors to experience and most places offer reasonable prices.

Georgetown Cupcake is located on Newbury Street and has daily specials (you could get a free cupcake). The classic red-velvet cupcake and chocolate ganache are definitely worth a try; if these flavors aren’t your thing, try a vanilla or chocolate cupcake, they’re awesome.

Cakeology offers 19 custom made flavors for their cupcakes in addition to the originals. It is located on Province Street in Boston.

Crumbs Bake Shop on Federal Street offers a special “colossal” cupcake that serves 6-8 people! Grab a few friends and enjoy!

The Monumental Cupcakes at JP Art Market offer gluten free alternatives to all of their cupcakes and are known for their spiky colorful “sea urchin” frosting.

The Sugar Bakery offers more than 60 flavors and the menu changes with the seasons and as new flavors and ideas come in.

The prices at all of these cupcake shops and bakeries range from about $2-$5 with the exception of the colossal cupcake which is $42. Alright Northeastern, go out and sample some deliciousness at one of these cupcake places and vote for your favorite using the link below.
