Talk More. Laugh More. Do More: Mental Health Awareness Week 2013

Next week, Active Minds at NU will be hosting a series of events to shine light on and bring awareness to a variety of mental health topics. Mental Health Awareness Week 2013 kicks off with a BBQ on Monday, October 7 at noon in the Centennial Common. Other activities during the week include presentations about perceptions of mental illness, the relationship between sleep and stress, and bystander awareness; Zumba, yoga, and art therapy.  Join Active Minds and University Health and Counseling Services on Friday, October 11 for dog therapy in the Centennial Common, and a screening of Silver Linings Playbook in Dodge Hall.
