Want to win Beanpot tickets?

February in Boston means BEANPOT! Northeastern University, Harvard University, Boston University, and Boston College will compete in a series of hockey games at the TD Banknorth Garden. This is a big deal. Tickets for NU students went on sale Saturday. If you have yet to procure tickets then you’re in luck — your humble blog authoress has three pairs of Beanpot tickets to give away! Each pair contains tickets for the games on February 3rd and 10th.

So how can you win these tickets, you ask? There are three ways to win:

  • Tuesday, January 28: Make sure you’re following @NUStudentLife on Twitter. I will ask a trivia question (Will it be about Northeastern? Will it be about hockey? Will it be about the terribly underrated Britpop band Gene? I don’t know yet! I’m keeping you all on your toes, you see.) and the first person to respond with the correct answer will win Beanpot tickets.
  • Wednesday, January 29: I will hide tickets in an envelope somewhere on campus and tweet out clues. The first person to find the envelope wins!
  • Thursday, January 30: Come to the Office of Student Affairs (104 Ell Hall) and try your luck in a guessing game. We will have a trophy cup full of Hershey kisses. If you guess the correct amount of kisses (or you guess closest), you will win Beanpot tickets! You will also win all of the said Hershey kisses. As a large amount of counting will be involved by those of us here in 104 Ell, the jellybean winner will not be announced until Friday, January 31.

So there you have it, Huskies — three chances to win Beanpot tickets. Stay tuned!
