“Where Are You?” Video Submissions

It’s been a cold and snowy winter in Boston, but we know that many of you are having fun (and learning a lot) in far reaching places around the globe. And we want to include you in a new video that shows WHERE IN THE WORLD NORTHEASTERN STUDENTS ARE.

Here’s the deal:

We’re looking for students on international co-ops, doing service trips, Dialogues, studying abroad or just generally having an awesome experience away from campus.  We want you to send us a quick video of yourself holding a sign that says where you are and what you’re doing (example: “Just landed in Hong Kong for a 6-month co-op”). The reverse side of the sign should say “This is Northeastern.” The short clip should simply be of you holding your sign and then flipping it over. The more interesting the backdrop of your video, the better!

What next?

Well, you email us your video, and we collect these clips and compile them into one cool video set to music. Then we’ll share it with students, parents, alumni and whoever else might be interested.

What’s in it for me?

The first 20 students to submit videos will receive a $20 Amazon gift card.

So – let’s do this!

Email us at e.hardman@neu.edu now if you want to be a part of this. Hurry – you have just over 2 weeks to send it! The deadline is Friday, February 14.

Please leave a reply, we'd love to know what you think!
