On Thursday, April 3rd at the Northeastern School of Law, Breast Cancer Action–a national watchdog education and advocacy organization will host an event called, Seeing Red: The Truth About Pink Ribbons. BCAction works to address and eliminate disparities in the breast cancer epidemic. This event is designed to introduce Boston-area audiences to BCAction’s work, and to start a dialogue about cause marketing, the commercialization of breast cancer, and other issues important to patients, advocates, and policymakers. There will be a showing of an excerpt from hard-hitting documentary, Pink Ribbons Inc, followed by a panel discussion with experts, facilitated by WGBH’s Callie Crossley.
