Late Night MBTA!

At the end of the spring semester, you might have noticed that the T and 15 of the most popular bus routes were running later than usual on Friday and Saturday nights. An hour and a half later, to be exact. These later hours meant you had a safe way to get home and no longer had to splurge on cabs if you were out past 1:00am! Well, in case you didn’t know about these hours, or thought they ended with the summer, we’re here to tell you that the MBTA Late Night Service is still going strong! If you want to find out more about this service, you can see all of the details here.

No decisions have been made yet in terms of whether or not this will become a permanent fixture of the MBTA, but since the service was launched, almost half a million riders have opted for this less expensive transportation option. Solid ridership will definitely be a factor in the decision, so make sure to take advantage of this great opportunity to show the MBTA that it is something they should keep around!

Latenight1 Latenight2Aside from the excitement of the late hours, the MBTA wants to make sure that you are aware of your surroundings when you are around any of the subway lines, particularly the Green Line!
