Calling all Northeastern fans of The Office (we know you’re out there, we see your memes on Twitter)!
Darryl Philbin is the acerbic, humorous warehouse foreman at our favorite Scranton branch of Dunder Mifflin. The actor who plays him, Craig Robinson, is that and much, much more.
Robinson is world famous for his particular brand of comedy; perhaps best known from The Office, he’s equally as amusing in films like Pineapple Express, Hot Tub Time Machine, and This Is the End. Unbeknownst to most fans, however, he also holds a Masters in Education from St. Xavier University and taught music to K-8 students in Chicago. Thankfully for us all, he decided to quit his day job in favor of stand-up comedy gigs, performing at (and winning) stand-up competitions and going on to perform on “The Jimmy Kimmel Show” and “Real Time with Bill Maher.” Since 2005, he’s been known as Darryl Philbin on The Office.
On Friday, November 13th, Craig Robinson in-the-flesh will be performing with The Nasty Delicious band at The Wilbur Theatre! What do you get when you mix comedy, jazz, and funk (and specifically, Robinson’s expertise on the keyboard)? You get an awesome night, that’s what.
Luckily for you, we’ve teamed up with The Wilbur Theatre to give you two chances to win some free tickets! Here’s how you could win a pair of seats:
