Friday, Feb 19th: Spotlight Screening
In case you missed it in theaters, here’s your chance to see Spotlight (for free!), one of the most powerful films of the year that’s set right here in Boston. It tells the true story of an investigative journalism team at The Boston Globe that uncovers systemic child sexual abuse across the area at the hands of Roman Catholic priests. The result is an in-depth story published in 2002 that had huge implications for sexual abuse investigations across the world.

Saturday, Feb 20th: FRIENDS Trivia @ Common Ground Allston
Finally, your hours and hours of Netflix binge-ing are going to pay off. Sunday, Feb 21st: Haley House Souper Bowl
Haley House is an awesome social enterprise just blocks from campus that fosters community development and social justice, all while serving a delicious cup o’ joe. They’ve been working in Roxbury for a whopping 50 years, and are celebrating by hosting the 8th Annual Souper Bowl! Over a dozen chefs will make all kinds of uniquely tasty soups using only locally-sourced ingredients. Guests will pick up a hand-made clay bowl, provided by MassArt’s Clay for Change student group, and sample each concoction. You get to leave with your chosen bowl as well as a greater appreciation for local cuisine!

Monday, Feb 22nd: ZuZu Music Industry Night

Take singing in the shower to the next level! Show off your skills at Passim’s Open Mic Night. Wednesday, Feb 24th: Sweeney Todd
Berklee College of Music’s Musical Theater Club presents Sweeney Todd, a dark musical thriller set in a 19th century insane asylum that came to widespread fame after Johnny Depp starred in the feature film. This production features a full cast of Berklee’s best performers, as well as a live orchestra.
