Friday, March 18th: NU Men’s Hockey 2016 Hockey East Semifinals!

Come out to support your Huskies as they take on Boston College in the 2016 Hockey East Championship! This is the first time since 2011 that our men’s hockey team has advanced to the semifinals, and we plan on bringing down the house with some husky noise! Tickets on the student balcony are only $20, and they’re going fast.

Saturday, March 19th: Nowruz 2016 at the MFA

Sunday, March 20th: Southie St. Patrick’s Day Parade

Boston is the St. Patrick’s Day headquarters of America, and Southie is the epicenter of the country’s Irish home-away-from-home. Each year, thousands gather along Broadway to see bands, floats, dancers, and St. Patrick himself march past in the nation’s largest St. Paddy’s Day parade. The celebration starts at 1 pm by the Broadway T stop (Red Line) and progresses through Southie, ending in St. Andrews Square. Come prepared to be swallowed in the very excited and very green crowd!

Monday, March 21st: Cycle Massachusetts Kick-off Party

Love cycling? Celebrate the end of winter with the folks over at Cycle Mass and get all the info you need to plan some awesome bike trips this summer! You’ll also get the chance to sign up for the Mass BikePike Tour as well as shorter excursions, which cover awesome trails across New England. Free food, a cash bar, and plenty of outdoors enthusiasts!

Wednesday, March 23rd: Yoga at the Gallery

Thursday, March 24th: Purim Party at the Ritz Carlton

Purim is a Jewish holiday that commemorates the saving of the Jewish people from Haman in the Persian Empire. Today, it is celebrated around the world with plenty of noise and fanfare, as well as with lots of costume parties. The Hillels of BU, Brandeis, Harvard, Simmons, Emerson, Suffolk, and Northeastern are sponsoring an awesome costume party at The Ritz-Carlton! There will be dancing, contests, and prizes, including a costume contest with a top prize of $100 awarded at 11 pm. See you on the dance floor!
