Friday, April 15th: Stand-up Comedy at The Hideout
Head over to Faneuil Hall to see all your favorite comedians from Conan, Comedy Central, Funny or Die, and more! For a mere five dollars, you get to hang at The Hideout with ~free~ popcorn and start your weekend in the funniest way possible. Headlining acts include Jason Cordova, Jordan Handren-Seavey, Jo Galvin, Nick Lavallee, Matt Kona, and Jeff Wiles. Sunday, April 17th: Northeastern Big Dog 5k
Get in the marathon spirit a little early this year with Northeastern’s Big Dog 5k! Join students, faculty, and alumni in a fun run around campus starting and finishing just outside of the Cabot Center. The race includes professional timing as well as awesome prizes for the winners! All entrants can celebrate at the finish line with live entertainment and refreshments.
Monday, April 18th: Society of Grownups Marathon Party – Home Stretch Hurrah!
Looking for an awesome spot to catch the Boston Marathon? Well look no further, Society of Grownups has you covered! Wednesday, April 20th: Stories Under the Stars
Come to the Charles Hayden Planetarium for an evening of live storytelling, radio, and music under the stars. You’ll hear true stories, both personal and inspired by science, that explore the theme of ‘Light in the Dark,’ all unfolding beneath the canopy of the cosmos. This surreal experience, hosted by the Museum of Science, will be narrated by science reporter Ari Daniel.

Thursday, April 21st: Thelonious Monkfish Jazz Festival
Cambridge’s favorite sushi-fusion restaurant is about to kick off its first annual Thelonious Monkfish Jazz Festival! Boston’s best jazz artists will perform for free in the eatery right in Central Square, serenading diners while they dig into the restaurant’s famous sushi boat (yum). Best of all, there’s no cover charge, so stop by, grab a few rolls, and enjoy some world-class jazz! The festival kicks off this Thursday with the Kevin Harris Trio performing at 7pm.
