ArtBeat 2016: ROOTS
7/15 – 7/16
ArtBeat is an annual arts festival in one of the hippest neighborhoods in Somerville. This year’s theme is “roots,” celebrating what keeps us grounded, our heritage, what ties us together and all things related to plants. Stop by for craft vendors, live music and dance performances, food stands and activities for all ages!

The Good Dinosaur @ The Pru
Every Saturday this summer, the Prudential Center will be showing movies as part of their Family Film Festival series in the South Garden. This Saturday, unleash your inner kid and join them for a free showing of The Good Dinosaur! Blankets and beach chairs are encouraged, popcorn is strongly recommended and a good time is mandatory. See their movie schedule here.

Festival Betances
7/15 – 7/17
Celebrate Latino culture in the South End, at Festival Betances, New England’s longest running celebration! Traditional cuisine, arts and crafts, a parade and music of all genres will be sure to keep you on your feet.

Does none of this sound appealing? Don’t let that stop you for enjoying this weekend’s beautiful weather! Check out what all the craze is about the new Pokemon Go app released this month that’s gotten everyone exploring all that Boston (and the whole world) has to offer! The world is your oyster, now go find your Pikachu.
