#NUSummester Trip to NYC

Last weekend, I had the opportunity to go to NYC through a day trip sponsored by #NUSummester. Here’s a photo recap of our 7 hour adventure in the Big Apple:

BAGELS, of course.

Ess-a-Bagel had a line out the door and around the block, but well worth the wait for an authentic NYC bagel experience.

Momofuku Milk Bar

Cereal milk flavored soft serve ice cream and cornflake chocolate chip marshmallow cookies are just a few of the funky treats on their menu.

We enjoyed a scenic walk on The High Line, complete with hand-shaved ice from People’s Pop to cool down.

Right by The High Line is Chelsea Market, an indoor marketplace with a wide collection of eateries, boutiques and stores.

Raclette NYC
Melted cheese…enough said.

Traditionally a Swiss dish, cheese is heated and scraped onto vegetables, cured meats and baguettes.

An insta-worthy picture of our meal:

The Big Gay Ice Cream Shop in East Village had a wide variety of soft serve and milkshakes. The “Salty Pimp”, vanilla ice cream with dulce de leche and sea salt dipped in chocolate, was my favorite.
