Next week, Northeastern startups Knightly and Fit University are joining forces with Northeastern Panhellenic Council to host NUWellWeek advocating for health, wellness and safety around campus. Come be a part of a week-long movement of celebrating mental and physical well being!
Founded by Northeastern student Abbey Titcomb, Knightly aims to make campus safety (no matter the time) a priority. This trigger-app combo allows the user to notify their chosen friends when they are in an uncomfortable situation or immediately alert campus police in a more urgent situation. The USB drive shaped button easily clips onto your ID or notebook, making it easy to use and carry around.
Fit University @ Northeastern is the first collegiate chapter of Fit University, which was started by Northeastern alumna Sarah Gaines. Fit U is your one-stop shop for all things fitness. They host a wide variety of fitness events on campus and around Boston to make a healthy lifestyle achievable for college students.
Northeastern Panhellenic Council
Northeastern Panhellenic Council on Northeastern’s campus consists of 9 sorority chapters (Alpha Epsilon Phi, Chi Omega, Delta Epsilon Phi, Delta Zeta, Kappa Delta, Kappa Kappa Gamma, Sigma Kappa, Sigma Delta Tau and Sigma Sigma Sigma) that together make up the Greek community. Panhel creates strong collegiate women who aim to shatter negative body stigmas and promote healthy living.
