Open up your mind to innovation today at the Profiles in Innovation discussion featuring Vijay Govindarajan (VG). As an international business professor at Dartmouth College, VG is a pioneer of the reverse innovation concept, has advised more than a quarter of Fortune 500 firms, and is a co-leader of a global initiative to design a $300 house. VG will be joined by President Aoun at the discussion in Blackman at 5pm. A reception is to follow. The event will also be streaming live at facebook.com/northeastern. WillDailey-02-bigGive it up for the two-time winner of the Boston Music Award for Best Singer/ Songwriter Will Dailey! Will Dailey is a singer/songwriter with rock and roll roots; he has appeared on stage with the likes of Dave Matthews and Willie Nelson. Dailey will be in AfterHours today at 6pm.

How do you feel about supporting the prevention of child abuse? Tonight at 8 shamrockis Kappa Delta’s annual Shamrock n’ Roll Talent Show and Silent Auction with all proceeds benefiting the Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children and Prevent Child Abuse America. Some of the talents featured include NU & Improv’d, NU Acting Out, Pitch, Please, and more! Auction items include Patriots memorabilia and gift cards from Qdoba, Starbucks, and Chicken Lou’s. The Northeastern Men’s Basketball team is ready to dance its way all the way to NCAA history. Tonight is the CAA final in which they will take on James Madison at 7pm in Richmond, Virginia. It COULD BE the first time since 1991 that the Huskies (19-11, 14-4 in CAA play) have reached the NCAA Tournament. The game will be televised live on the NBC Sports Network. For those Huskies who wish to witness history in the making, a watch party will be held in the West Addition of Curry at 7pm. LET’S GO HUSKIES!
