Throwback Thursday at the Museum of Fine Arts

The Museum of Fine Arts is currently hosting a “Hippie Chic” exhibition. Perhaps it’s because your humble blog authoress just relocated to Boston from San Francisco, but this sounds pretty darn awesome. According to the exhibit’s website, “Hippie Chic” explores quintessential 1960’s fashion. From crushed velvet suits to brightly colored frocks to go-go boots, this exhibition will immerse you in hippie style.

The Museum is welcoming back Boston’s college students on Thursday, September 26. From 6:00 PM – 9:45 PM, attendees are invited to dress up in hippie attire, make their own tie-dyed threads, pose for pictures with a vintage VW bus, and dance to some groovy tunes. It sounds like the MFA is bringing some old school Haight-Ashbury to Boston.

Throwback Thursday is free with a valid student I.D.

Peace & Love,
KK
